Dodo was the first person I thought of, when you asked whom I would like to see again! Billy Knight is another. A lot of innocent people get dragged when someone in their vicinity is involved in a crime, and Billy is a great character. We saw part of his happy ending, seeing him with dignity restored following getting stabilized on meds. He had been through so much, and mental illness is just a part of it. I love that Strike used him as a positive example of someone who, even though they are in the grip of active symptoms, are courageous, moral people seeking to right wrongs and protect the innocent. I have family members who manage chronic illnesses that include Billy's symptoms. It's easy for our culture to write mentally ill people off as perpetrators or victims, not concerned citizens involving themselves, at great personal risk, in solving crimes. So if we see Billy again, and he's doing fine, I would love that. Maybe Strike needs to subcontract him out for something?

That's a great point Cheryl; positive depictions of people with mental illness are not common in fiction, especially in mystery/thriller type stories. I'd like to see Billy doing well, too.

Orlando an Billy were two of the people I thought about when I read the post earlier, found it via a Facebook group for fans of the Cormoran Strike novels. Would like to see both of them again.
